Family Group Conference Plans in Kent (2006)

A STUDY OF PLANNING AND OUTCOMES IN KENT FAMILY GROUP CONFERENCE SERVICE (2006)

Kent has a substantial and sophisticated Family Group Conference Service. The focus of the study was on the nature and importance of the plan in connection with FGC outcomes.

All of the FGCs were judged, by all parties, as having some positive outcomes, and the great majority were judged as highly successful.

The study shows the need for a post FGC system that is strongly family-led.

A ‘Summary of Findings’ is also available as a PDF.
