The Children Act and the NHS and Community Care Act require better information and higher levels of participation for service users; this means practitioners and managers developing new ways of changing policy and practice, according to a report by Bradford and Sheffield Universities.STAFF DEVELOPMENT and training for services based on partnership practice can be enhanced by making a commitment to task-centred work, giving priority to the principles of partnership, auditing existing practice, evaluating training and continuing support for practice change.
